As I mentioned in my first post, for 2012, I've made a few goals for myself. There are many things that I'm trying to get accomplished, but the overall goal for me is to work towards my optimal health and happiness.
Jumping on my to do list has been a little slow-going.. I have had a few small hurdles to go over the last few months.. but I'm finally ready. First plan of action: Cleaning.
I'm doing an intense spring cleaning of everything! Firstly, i'm doing a strict 14-day detox. I got myself the "Organic Total Body Cleanse" kit from Renew Life, and am going compliment it with a 14 day detox eating plan. It's fairly simple. The 'diet' consists of 5 days vegan (also no refined anything, and no coffee :( ), 4 days raw, and the last 5 days vegan again. Spring is coming, and I feel like I really need to grease my wheels, if you catch my drift.
As well as cleaning my pipes, I'm cleaning house. I'm also cleaning out my closet. I'm hoping to get rid of 1/3 of my clothes and shoes... We shall see how that goes. I'm just feeling a little too constricted by all of my crap. Ha.
(Luckily, Grady is out of town for ten days.. This is great, as he is not a helping force in the ways of cleaning, and we don't have a bathroom vent or window.)
Aside from all that- this week is going to be a real pain in the ass. I took on some extra hours since Grady's away... Tomorrow for my dad's birthday, I am having lunch with him at the cafe I work at during the 1 hour break I have between jobs (12 hr day total). Yuck. I loathe having to drain the deep fryer on Tu & Th... Hopefully I can catch some skiing this weekend.
